Cup of Kee x Haunted Willow: A New Era

Haunted Willow Co x Cup of Kee
I’m planning some changes for Cup of Kee and Haunted Willow this year, so this post is my way of kickstarting that for myself, and then you’ll be introduced to the changes a little further down the line! If you’ve followed my blog but don’t know about my small business, or follow my small business and don’t know about my blog - then here’s a little introduction for you. I hope you’ll stick around for the journey…
So let’s do this one by one.
Cup of Kee is my ‘blogging’ space. I started a blog back in 2015 as a creative writing student in college. Our lecturer said it would be great for us to keep a writer’s journal and take on some writing projects of our own, so my blog was born out of that, and it’s stuck with me (in different forms) ever since. I can’t believe it’s been almost ten years!
Cup of Kee specifically is not quite that old, maybe not more than a year old even, but it’s where I feel most at home in a blogging space; it took a while to find a form of posting that felt organic and true to me, but I think this is pretty much it (of course, still with a little growing room as you’re never quite done changing!)
My blog and Instagram account centre mostly on my everyday life and all the things in it that I love - books, movies, music, Halloween & Autumn, pottery painting, dungeons & dragons, my friends, travelling, and more. I love documenting memories, sharing the things I love, and writing, so it’s a hobby I really enjoy, and it also allows me to connect with people like you!
As for my small business, Haunted Willow, I actually started out under a different name back in 2020 (we can all assume why I started a new hobby that year…) and found myself rebranding to Haunted Willow in 2022 as I found the aesthetic better fit my ‘vibe’. Like my blog, Haunted Willow has always been filled with the things I love, so many of my products are inspired by Taylor Swift, Gilmore Girls, other music/movie/TV-related interests, books, Halloween, ghosts, and cosiness.
I have connected with so many incredible people through having a small business, in fact, I met my two best friends in a small biz/art group chat on Twitter, and I love the community that comes with being a small business owner and creative.
My dream is for Haunted Willow to be my main source of income, but as I recently bought a house and started a degree, that’s not quite come true yet - which is why it’s time to make some changes!
So, I'm merging Cup of Kee and Haunted Willow Co under one domain and one website. I chose to use Cup of Kee as it is of course more personal to me, but Haunted Willow isn't going anywhere! You'll still be able to shop Haunted Willow products right here within Cup of Kee.
Change can be a difficult thing, but it can also be a great thing, so I hope you'll stay with me on this and love it as much as I do!
Thank you for all the support you've given me on Haunted Willow and Cup of Kee, I hope to see you around here too.
~ Kee
