Chapters & Chai is Turning One! So it's time to celebrate together <3

Where: Waterstones Worthing
When: Thursday, July 23rd, 2026. Doors open 6:30pm. Ends 8:15pm

Join us for an evening of birthday celebrations with cake, bookish goodie bags, and more. We'll also be discussing July's book and voting for our September pick.

Tickets often sell fast - and these ones might go even faster - so get one whilst you can! If you miss out on tickets, we will implement a Waitlist ticket system. Tickets work on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Please Note: If you buy a ticket and later cannot make the event, please do get in touch via email or DM as soon as possible so I can make spaces available for other people, as we have a long list of people who wish to attend! 

FAQs

• Will there be food & drink?
  Waterstones have kindly offered to make some drinks for us, so it is recommended to bring your own travel mug! You can also bring your own (clean/tidy) snacks and drinks. There will be birthday cake & cupcakes, but please be mindful of any allergies or dietary sensitivities and please ask if you have any concerns.
  Please be mindful that we are in a bookshop and do need to keep things tidy. There are bins right outside Waterstones, so please take your rubbish with you when you leave.
• Why do these tickets cost more than usual?
  The birthday celebrations include your usual entry ticket, as well as a handmade goodie bag, snacks, and cake! These are completely funded by myself, and although the ticket price won't cover the costs, the little extra helps me out greatly. You will still get your book discount too!
